Soon after we moved here, we noticed that the local pawn shop advertised roosters for sale! And you know how folks put up lost dog or cat signs? Round here, we were surprised to see “Lost Goat”. When my neighbor brought me hog jowls last Christmas, I knew we’d finally made it to the country.
